Benefits

The Washington Brewers Guild is an awesome community of brewers and industry suppliers.  We offer three types of membership.

Brewery Memberships

Our member breweries are the heart of the Washington Brewers Guild.  Together, we are stronger, and together we craft.  We need ALL Washington breweries working together to make our collective voice heard!  Regular Brewery memberships are available to breweries in Washington that produce less than six million barrels per year, and that have no more than 25 percent ownership by another beverage alcohol company that is not itself eligible to be a regular member. Brewery member benefits include:

  • Direct access and participation in shaping Washington State and federal beer laws
  • Regular updates, guidance and support on legislative and regulatory issues that impact your business
  • Access to member-only email groups where 285+ breweries share information on industry issues and news, post equipment for sale, vendor referrals, make trades for hops and more
  • Members have access to post jobs on the WBG public facing job board
  • Link to your business on the WBG directory
  • Networking and educational opportunities at regular membership meetings
  • Eligibility to participate in WBG events and festivals
  • Participation in Annual Olympia Hill Climb and Legislative Reception
  • Voting rights in annual WBG board of directors elections

Allied Memberships

Allied memberships are available to tradesmen, retailers, distributors and suppliers doing business with the brewing industry or any individual, partnership or corporation in an allied industry or endeavor.  Our allied members are valued members of the WBG community and enjoy increased access to WA craft brewers, visibility at WBG events and many other sponsorship and networking opportunities.  Allied membership benefits include:

  • Recognition and networking opportunities at regular WBG membership meetings
  • Advertising/sponsorship opportunities at WBG festivals and events (including the WA Craft Beer Summit).
  • Up to date info on issues important to the WA craft beer industry through our monthly newsletter
  • Members have access to post jobs on the WBG public facing job board
  • Link to your business on the WBG directory

Associate Memberships

Eligible businesses include breweries that brew at a facility in Washington owned 25 percent or more by a brewing organization with an annual production of more than six million barrels a year, contract brewers not holding majority financial interest in a Washington brewing facility, brewing facilities not eligible for Regular Membership because only one brewing organization under common ownership is eligible for Regular (voting) Membership, breweries in planning or a licensed out-of-state brewery may join as a non-voting Associate member.  Associate Membership benefits include:

  • Link to your business on the WBG website
  • Networking opportunities at WBG meetings and events
  • Up to date info on issues important to craft brewers through our monthly newsletter
  • Members have access to post jobs on the WBG public facing job board
